Child Sponsorship Programme
As dethroned by the society the children are becoming child labours or anti social activists. To prevent this problem KISES taken as social responsibility and Child sponsorship programme was initiated in Khammam and Krishna District and total 55 children were going on under this programme. 

Total 55 children were selected and enrolled them in the schools of various places of 2 districts. The children are at different stages like 1st class to 10th class.  All the children are well active. 
SELECTION CRITERIA :

The selection of the children in Khammam District was made that the children those who lost both parents (orphans) only. 

In Krishna District the selection was on the basis of tsunami affected children and also orphans of tsunami affected. All the children are well and continuing their education.  It was also conducted the birth day celebrations of the children. Total 150 children were being distributed the school uniforms for poor children.
EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMME :
Under its educational activity the society has been provided educational help to the poor merit students to encourage them to get better ranks in the education and continue their education with out any break.  Under this we have selected 10 students from 7th and 10th standard and provided them with cash awards. 

Self Employment scheme for women KISES conducted a tailoring center for school dropout girls and unemployed youth at Rebbavaram village for the girls from surrounding villages.  A batch of 40 girls were received training in tailoring, stitching, cutting new designs, cost management etc., out of 40, 30 girls were successfully completed their training and sent eligible students for government examinations. 
INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION :
As part of National integrity KISES celebrating Independence Day on every year and conducting the health camps on this special eve. 
WORLD AIDS DAY :
KISES celebrating world AIDS Day of December 1st of every year to create more awareness conducting procession rallies with students with slogans, play cards and distributed pamphlets and handouts to the public to spread the message of dangerous of HIV/ AIDS and precautions to be taken from HIV infection. 

After massive disaster of Tsunami the need of the service was identified and immediately rushed to the tsunami affected villages of Krishna District.  The area of selection of the villages also the island villages of Nagayalanka Mandal and adjacent to sea of the Machilipatnam Mandal. 
AREA SELECTION
:
KISES selected the island villages of Nagayalanka Mandal is mainly there is no transportation to those villages and more over to go to those villages have to cross the river and ferry is the only way to cross the river to go to villages. Though several problems faced in implementing the programme KISES never take back its decision to work at those villages.  By constant efforts for mobilizing the resources finally commenced the rehabilitation programme
ISLAND VILLAGES :
The area of villages selected by KISES was very remote area of the Krishna district and most adjacent to the river of Krishna and particularly of Island villages.

Location :  These island villages were located in Nagayalanka mandal and far away to 20 K.M from Nagayalanka which is very adjacent to the Krishna River.   The transportation is very difficult as the only way through sea and that to be the only one ferry transporting the villagers from this way to other way.

Demographical Area In the island total 2 panchyats consisting of 10 villages and having 2000 families and around nearly 8000 population. 

Occupation : The only way for livelihood is fishing and that to be in the seasonal and cyclone warning and other unfavourable situations of the atmosphere they could not for fishing. 

Educational Services Jjust primary school for the villagers and there is no high school in the entire island villages and for the high school education all the students have to move to Nagayalanka or some other places coming to main land area.

As per the above only limited resource and very far to the normal society and living in a miserable conditions and not having the hygiene and health awareness and no NGO is willing to work in those areas in concurrent programmes except in emergency or temporarily based programmes and even in this precarious location the KISES has come forward with strong commitment to work at there and working in the health and sanitation interventions for the last 3 years by constructing the toilets to the families, distributing live stock for their livelihood, conducting health camps for regular health check up, made house repairs to the families who lost their houses during the Tsunami and also providing relief and rehabilitation programmes during the unprecedented natural calamities
