Initially the founder was very reluctant to establish the organization as he was engaged as an employee and it could not be possible to him to look after the activities by establishing the organization. While he was pondering seriously he had been supported by his life partner namely Mrs. Rajani Suram elected as Executive Director of the organisation. Now both the couples were completely involved in the service sector by sacrificing their family needs and committed for the service to the needy people.

Kiranmayi the name opting to the organization is also significance as Kiranmayi means “lighting” and the main object of suggesting that name is the lightening Rays should spread on the all the people.  KISES is formed by a group of women, which include women activists, social workers and educationalists.  The members of the society are all experienced in the field of Social Development have come together as Kiranmayi Socio Educational Society only to give their voluntary services without expecting any monitory benefits with the only vision of bringing hope to the hopeless, deprived, neglected and weaker sections of the society in Andhra Pradesh State of India irrespective of caste, class, creed, Religion, colour and gender
